Mysterious Waters

Mysterious Waters is a painting from one of my favourite places, The Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand. The work was complete from a friend’s wonderful photo, taken on a recent trip there. The work is painted in oils on canvas. I love the misty, mysterious quality of this image, where the hills are shrouded and the water is so still and calm.
