Come and join me for a drawing adventure next Sunday the 18th of Feb. Have you always wanted to learn to draw, then come along and join our small, intimate workshop and learn the basics.

WHERE:   Art Classes Central Coast Studios - 60 Maitland Rd, Springfield 

INVESTMENT: $145 or  Early bird payment of $120 if paid by Sunday, February 11.

TIME: 9 am - 1.30 pm

This half-day course is designed to introduce beginners to the fundamentals of drawing. Whether you're a complete novice or looking to refresh your drawing skills, this course will cover the following essential concepts:

TIMETABLE

9-11 am

  1. The Language of  Line & Value, - Study of the line language of some famous artists

  2. Tips and Tricks and exercises for eye-hand coordination, essentials for good drawing.

  3. Exercises to explore both the linear and emotional aspects of line.

  4. One Point Perspective

MORNING TEA  (11-11:30)

11.30-1.30

  1. Two-point perspective,

  2. Composition

  3. Through a combination of theory, practical exercises, and demonstrations, you will gain a strong foundation in drawing techniques.

  4. If there is time further aspects of drawing may be included, such as learning about Notan.

Materials Required:

  • Pencils (varying in hardness: 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B & F

  • Erasers (kneaded eraser ( the grey ones are best),  and a standard eraser)

  • Sketchbook or drawing paper

  • Ruler

  • Pencil Sharpener

  • Blending stumps

  • Bring a cushion as the chairs are a little low for the tables, not to mention not so kind on the derrière!
