What Is Afoot in the studio? A studio in complete Disarray - Help?

So, do things always go according to plan? No, I think not. What if I had a plan for a nice quiet Easter Sunday, a bit of drawing, some office work and perhaps I might even be inspired to get the brushes out.

So what happened? Not that! Instead much of the day was spent running up and down the stairs following my granddaughter who was chasing treasure hunt clues. This has become somewhat of an annual ritual and at just shy of 18 she informed us she expects it to continue until she is at least 27! Good luck with that one! It took a lot longer this year because we threw some anagrams into the clues and that proved to be pretty challenging for her.

And then there was John......

He thought it was a good idea to set up an alternative power supply in the studio, God love him! I mean, I'm not complaining - its a wonderful idea! It means I can continue working when we have power failures - awesome!

However this is where the brushes ended up and my easel took a wander as well.

Not quite the optimum place for working on my painting - not to mention the drilling and hammering going on. In fact I only just said to him, "that sounds awfully like a dentist drill you know". And it did - kinda set my teeth on edge.

This is where the paintbrushes usually live.

This also meant I had to take half the things out of my storage cupboard. Perhaps this will be a good opportunity to do some culling tomorrow..... hmmm sounds like a good plan to me as it is getting very crowded in there.
